The Kenya Society of Anaesthesiologists is cognizant of the fact that its members and other affiliated non-physician anesthesia providers are part of the frontline health care workers who will be intimately engaged in the management of inpatients who may have been infected by the novel coronavirus( COVID-19).

In line with this, the society wishes that all members of the anesthesia fraternity familiarize themselves with the following precautions over and above those stated by the Ministry of Health concerning preventive measures in an out of hospital scenario.
